Bunks are what tasks Changelings are required to perform in order to work their magic. Bunks are designed to focus their will in order to channel Glamour and shape the Dreaming to use Cantrips, even in the Mundane World.
Naturally, the more advanced spells in any Art requires greater sacrifice in order to work and, depending on the Changeling in question, some tasks will be more preferable to others. It’s also important to choose an appropriate Bunk for an appropriate cantrip (eg: “A Rose is a Rose” as a Bunk for the Level-one Aphrodisia cantrip “Fancy”).
Here are some small suggestions for the Bunks required to work Changeling Arts…
Level One
52 Pickup: Toss a deck of cards into the air.
A Rose is a Rose: Give your subject a rose.
Abracadabra: Say a silly word over and over, at least 10 times (must be a different word each time the bunk comes up).
Accentuating: Speak with an affected accent.
Ahem, AHEM: Clear your throat noisily.
Ask Nicely: Say “please” to the target of the cantrip. Be considerate.
Aww, How Cute: Bat your eyelids extravagantly.
Badge of Honor: Focus on a symbol of nobility.
Blue Skies: Focus on a reflection of the sky.
Bob-White: Imitate a bird call.
Burn, Baby, Burn: Set fire to something.
Butterflies: Eat a butterfly.
Chug-a-lug: Quaff an alcoholic beverage.
Clock Stop: Destroy a timepiece.
Compass: Draw a compass on the ground.
Condescend: Pat someone on the head.
Courtesy: Curtsey or bow before your subject.
Crack the Whip: Make the sound of a whip cracking.
Criss-Cross: Cross your eyes and hold them that way till the cantrip is completed.
Crystal Blue: Press a clear quartz crystal to your forehead and concentrate on remembering what you ate for breakfast.
Curses: Say as many obscenities as you can in one breath.
Dance-a-Jig: Dance a little two-step, and do it with flair.
Dragon Bones: Roll a six-sided die until you naturally get a “6” two times in a row.
Drippy Wax: Drip how wax on your hand.
Earthquake: Jump off your chair onto the floor.
Facepainting: Paint your face.
Fair Greeting: Kiss the hand of someone of the opposite sex.
Fizzy Punch: Consume an unlikely combination of drinks.
Flick Your Bic: Light a lighter.
Gift of the Feather: Give your subject a feather from a “lucky” bird.
Gnis Gnos: Sing a song backwards, one verse (Must be a different song each time the bunk comes up).
Gordian Boy Scout: Tie your shoe laces in triple knots.
Granny Yank: Pull on your earlobe three times.
Grasping Hand: Crush something in your grasp.
Grunt and Grumble: Make a disparaging comment.
Home Cookin’: Eat a muffin you baked yourself.
Home Sweet Home: Stare at a picture of a place you love.
I Know My Rights: Make a flag and burn it.
I’ve Gotta Admit It: Say something nice about your target.
Impersonation: Introduce yourself with a false title.

Trailer Soundbite: Quote a current movie. Must be a different movie each time the bunk comes up.
Tweak: Pluck three hairs from your body and cast them on the wind.
Twitch: Twitch your nose like a rabbit.
Veiled in Darkness: Draw a black cloth over someone’s eyes.
What’s in my Pocket?: Pull something gross out of your pocket.
Whistle Song: Blow through a whistle made from an eagle’s (or other bird’s) bone.
White Gloves: Put on white gloves (they can’t have a speck of dirt on them).
Wiggle Waggle: Waggle your finger in the direction of your subject.
Willowbark: Make willowbark tea and drink it.
Yell like a Snake: Hiss as loudly as you can.

Legalese: Reason with your target, using a Latin legal term correctly.

Bone Snap: Break a bone (This can be your own, someone else’s or any bone you can get hold of).
Bonjour, Mein Herr: Hail your target in five different languages very quickly.
Booger Salute: Burp on Command.
Borderlands: Walk on the edge between two places.
Broken Arrow: Point an arrow at your foe and break it.
Call of the Wild: Cry out like an animal.
Camp Fire: Lead those around you in a song.
Cauldron Scry: Focus on a small, black three-legged ceramic cauldron filled with clear spring water.
Chicken Scratch: Draw a picture of your subject in the dirt.
Dictionary: Give the dictionary definition of something related to the cantrip (must be different each time).
Director’s Cut: Hold your fingers like a picture frame in front of your eye and view your surroundings.

Art Critic: Sculpt a modelling clay likeness of your target and creatively smash it.

Paper Chase: Chase an innocent bystander around the room.
Poetry Corner: Make up a six-line poem and recite it.
Potlatch: Offer your target something of true value, by burying it near or in your subject if your subject is a place or inanimate thing.
Pretty Pattern: Shave a pattern on your leg.
Punchline: Cause another to burst out with laughter.
Quest-Gift: Give your subject an item of value.
Rainbow Drink: Grind gemstones of the colours of the rainbow into powder, then stir into a glass of wine and drink it.
Rattle the Bones: Cut fifty small plugs of flesh from your arms and legs, let them dry, and place them inside a rattle with several small animal bones. Shake the rattle to enact your song of power.
Recite Lineage: Recite your family tree. Due to the impressively long lineage of most Sidhe, this is not a combat bunk.
Regal Garb: Wear finery associated with the nobility.
Renaming: Forever call someone by a new name you give him. You can add an epithet to the

Seven-Day Candle: Chew the wax of a candle that burned continuously for seven consecutive days.
Shake and Bake: Shake someone till stuff falls out of their pockets.
Shapes in the Smoke: Inhale the fumes from a smodge pot.
Silence: Cause everyone within ear shot to be silent, then shout.
Snack Time: Bite the head off a small animal.

Soliloquy: You’ve got the stage for three entire minutes. Stand before a crowd and explain why you’re such a bastard.

Changeling Bunks

Bunks are what tasks Changelings are required to perform in order to work their magic. Bunks are designed to focus their will in order to channel Glamour and shape the Dreaming to use Cantrips, even in the Mundane World.
Naturally, the more advanced spells in any Art requires greater sacrifice in order to work and, depending on the Changeling in question, some tasks will be more preferable to others. It’s also important to choose an appropriate Bunk for an appropriate cantrip (eg: “A Rose is a Rose” as a Bunk for the Level-one Aphrodisia cantrip “Fancy”).
Here are some small suggestions for the Bunks required to work Changeling Arts…
Level One
52 Pickup: Toss a deck of cards into the air.
A Rose is a Rose: Give your subject a rose.
Abracadabra: Say a silly word over and over, at least 10 times (must be a different word each time the bunk comes up).
Accentuating: Speak with an affected accent.
Ahem, AHEM: Clear your throat noisily.
Ask Nicely: Say “please” to the target of the cantrip. Be considerate.
Aww, How Cute: Bat your eyelids extravagantly.
Badge of Honor: Focus on a symbol of nobility.
Blue Skies: Focus on a reflection of the sky.
Bob-White: Imitate a bird call.
Burn, Baby, Burn: Set fire to something.
Butterflies: Eat a butterfly.
Chug-a-lug: Quaff an alcoholic beverage.
Clock Stop: Destroy a timepiece.
Compass: Draw a compass on the ground.
Condescend: Pat someone on the head.
Courtesy: Curtsey or bow before your subject.
Crack the Whip: Make the sound of a whip cracking.
Criss-Cross: Cross your eyes and hold them that way till the cantrip is completed.

Granny Yank: Pull on your earlobe three times.
Grasping Hand: Crush something in your grasp.
Grunt and Grumble: Make a disparaging comment.
Home Cookin’: Eat a muffin you baked yourself.
Home Sweet Home: Stare at a picture of a place you love.
I Know My Rights: Make a flag and burn it.

Impersonation: Introduce yourself with a false title.

Veiled in Darkness: Draw a black cloth over someone’s eyes.
What’s in my Pocket?: Pull something gross out of your pocket.
Whistle Song: Blow through a whistle made from an eagle’s (or other bird’s) bone.
White Gloves: Put on white gloves (they can’t have a speck of dirt on them).
Wiggle Waggle: Waggle your finger in the direction of your subject.
Willowbark: Make willowbark tea and drink it.
Yell like a Snake: Hiss as loudly as you can.

Honor the Four Winds: Burn rare Oriental incense, procure and expensive gemstone, light a small fire of rare woods, and obtain a drop of water from every ocean in the world. Place each of these items at the compass points around you and speak the name of your subject aloud.

Rainbow Drink: Grind gemstones of the colours of the rainbow into powder, then stir into a glass of wine and drink it.
Rattle the Bones: Cut fifty small plugs of flesh from your arms and legs, let them dry, and place them inside a rattle with several small animal bones. Shake the rattle to enact your song of power.
Recite Lineage: Recite your family tree. Due to the impressively long lineage of most Sidhe, this is not a combat bunk.
Regal Garb: Wear finery associated with the nobility.
Renaming: Forever call someone by a new name you give him. You can add an epithet to the
person’s previously existing name if you wish.
Riddle Contest: Confound someone with a riddle.
